The AI Edit tool in Mercer allows you to utilize AI to easily generate realistic product renders from a CAD design or sketch.

Step 1: Upload your sketch.

Step 2: Click the AI Edit button.

Step 3: Describe how you’d like to edit your image, then hit “Generate”. You can use natural language to describe what you’re hoping to change. Some example edits prompts are include things like:

• “Add gold buttons down the front”
• “Change the color to blue”
• “Add white horizontal stripes across the chest”
• “Change material to nylon”
• “Make it more slim fit”

For this example, we’ve used the prompt: “Dark blue swim shorts with a tonal light blue vertical stripe along the side seam, white drawstrings, and a white waistband”
