Mercer allows you to mix and match different designs using the AI Edit Tool. You can use this tool to do things like apply different fabrics to designs, replace trims and materials, apply the vibe/style of one image to another, and more!

• Note: If you need to generate new fabric swatches, see our guide here on how to do that.

Step 1: Multi-select up to 3 images in the designs pane.

• On a PC, multi-select can be done by holding the ‘ctrl’ key and clicking on the additional image.
• On a Mac, multi-select can be done by holding the “cmd” key and clicking on the additional image.

You’ll know you’ve properly selected both images when you see a blue box bordering each one, like in the below image.

Step 2: Select the AI Edit Tool, and enter a prompt using natural language to describe how you’d like to apply the fabric swatch. In this example, we’ve simply entered “Remake the hoodie using the dye pattern from the puffer jacket”.

Step 3: Select the images you’d like to keep, and click “Insert” to save them into your design.
